Annulation, return and change

A return with a UPS collection costs €20, this collection is always at a home address and on a working day between 9.00 and 18.00.

The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 calendar days without providing reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which the Customer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the Customer acquires physical possession of the goods.

The goods must then be returned in accordance with our general terms and conditions, article 4:

4.1. The Product may not be used or damaged.

During this period, the Consumer shall handle the products and packaging with care. The Consumer shall only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether the product meets the specifications specified in the offer. If the returned product has somehow lost some of its value, MarketOnWeb reserves the right to hold the Customer liable and to claim damages for any lost value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods by the Customer that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4.2. Informing MarketOnWeb of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, Customers must inform MarketOnWeb (Hellegatstraat 5, 2590 Berlaar sales@marketonweb.be) of their decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. in writing by post, fax or email). The Customer may, but shall not be obliged to, use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose.

4.3. Proving that the product was returned on time

When the Consumer invokes the right of withdrawal, the Consumer shall return the product with all delivered accessories and in the original condition and packaging to MarketOnWeb, Hellegatstraat 5, 2590 Berlaar within a period of 14 days after the Consumer invoked the right of withdrawal. The Consumer must prove that the delivered products were returned to MarketOnWeb on time, e.g. with a proof of postal delivery..

4.4. Return costs are payable by the Customer

The costs of returning the goods are payable by the customer. Nothwithstanding the foregoing the costs for the return shall not be payable by the customer if the delivered good or the provided service does not meet the description of the offer.

4.5. How to return a parcel?

If you wish to return a parcel, you can do so upon your own initiative (*) and the full amount of your order will be refunded. You can also request a return label from MarketOnWeb. In Belgium, €5 will be deducted from the refund of your order for a return label. For returns from the Netherlands and France, €10 will be charged. You can request the return label by sending an email to info@marketonweb.be with specification of your name and order number.

4.5.1 How to exchange a parcel?

To exchange your order please send an email to info@marketonweb.be. Please specify your order number and the product you want to exchange.

4.5.2 Received the wrong product?

Did you receive a wrong product? Please send an email to info@marketonweb.be. Please specify your order number and add a photograph of the incorrect product, and we will rectify the situation as soon as possible.

4.6. Purchase is final by operation of law after 14 days

If, after the 14-day period, the consumer has not returned the delivered products to MarketOnWeb, the purchase shall be deemed to be final by operation of law.

4.7. What is refunded?

If the Customer withdraws from the contract, MarketOnWeb shall refund all payments received from the Customer up to that point, including the standard delivery costs (unless a return label is used), within a maximum of 14 calendar days after MarketOnWeb has been informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw from the contract. In the case of sales contracts, MarketOnWeb may delay any refund until it has received all the goods back, or until the Customer has proved that it has returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.

 4.8. Other method of delivery

Any extra costs resulting from the Customer's choice of delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by MarketOnWeb will not be refunded.

4.9. Refunds shall be made using the same payment method as the Customer used.

MarketOnWeb refunds the Customer via the same payment instrument as the payment instrument with which the Customer made the original transaction, unless the Customer has explicitly agreed otherwise; in any case no costs shall be charged to the Customer for such refund.

4.10. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:

Nothwithstanding the foregoing the Consumer may not invoke the above right of withdrawal in respect of contracts relating to:

  • the delivery of goods manufactured to the Customer's specifications, or which are clearly intended for a specific person;
  • the delivery of goods that deteriorate quickly or with a limited shelf life;
  • the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and the seal of which is broken after delivery;
  • contracts whereby the Customer has specifically requested MarketOnWeb to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance on site;
  • the delivery of digital content which is not delivered on a material medium if execution has begun with the Customer's express prior consent and provided the Customer has acknowledged that this means they lose the right of withdrawal (e.g. downloading music, software);
  • the contracts for betting and lottery services.

4.11. ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is an internet platform, established by the European Commission with the aim of settling disputes arising from e-commerce out of court.
