The protective cover forms an effective barrier against icy winds, frost and snow, but at the same time allows air, light and moisture to pass through. So the plant is protected under optimal conditions and you prevent cracks in the bark, freezing and dehydration. This protective cover is certainly strong, as it is made of particularly high quality nonwoven fabric (140 g/m²).
